SUMMARY:Viola/Violin Teaching Strategies
DESCRIPTION:The Teaching Strategies course is designed to support violin and viola teachers in developing more effective\, thoughtful\, and compassionate Suzuki teaching. Through guided observation\, video analysis\, collaborative discussion\, and constructive feedback\, participants will strengthen their pedagogical skills while deepening their understanding of Suzuki philosophy in practical teaching situations. Teachers will share short lesson recordings and receive feedback in a respectful and supportive environment that encourages reflection\, self-evaluation\, and the exchange of ideas among colleagues. Teaching Strategies is a prerequisite for Unit 3 training and is considered a core component of Suzuki teacher development. \nYou must be logged in to your SAA account and have Active Membership to join the course roster below.  \nScroll down to the bottom of this page to the enrollment box\, click “+”\, then click “get tickets”. Follow the prompts to make payment in full for this course.  \nAfter getting tickets below\, you’ll receive a confirmation email from the SAA. You’ll also be able to verify your enrollment on your profile under Upcoming Courses. \nIf the enrollment box isn’t visible and you only see the waitlist option\, it means you’re missing either an audition or a course prerequisite on your training profile. Please join the waitlist while you complete that class or wait for your audition results. You can check your training profile here to see what you are missing: https://suzukiassociation.org/person-profile/ \nIf you have any trouble enrolling or if your profile needs to be updated\, please write to info@suzukiassociation.org with the details.  \nAll transactions are final and non-refundable.
