SUMMARY:Piano Teaching Strategies
DESCRIPTION:Teaching Strategies is designed to support and guide teacher participants in how to become more effective in their teaching. Strategies will reinforce the positive aspects and offer constructive feedback on each participant’s lessons. \nTeaching Strategies is given in a masterclass format. Each participant should prepare short videos (5-8 minutes) of their curent teaching. It is highly suggested that teachers submit Book 1 lessons. \nTeaching Strategies is a pre-requisite for taking Unit 3\, so be sure to sign up for this course to be qualified of your enrollment in Unit 3. \nYou must be logged in to your SAA account and have Active Membership to join the course roster below.  \nScroll down to the bottom of this page to the enrollment box\, click “+”\, then click “get tickets”. Follow the prompts to enter your payment information to pay the nonrefundable $20 deposit fee.   \nYou will receive an email confirmation after signing up with instructions on how to pay the balance of the tuition.  You can also verify your enrollment from your profile under Upcoming Courses. \nIf the enrollment box isn’t visible and you only see the waitlist option\, it means you’re missing either an audition or a course prerequisite on your training profile.
