DESCRIPTION:This 10-hour pedagogy masterclass is designed to enhance teaching skills in a supportive\, trust-based environment. Participants present their own work for feedback\, gaining practical insights to improve effectiveness. \nIt is a prerequisite for Unit 3 training. \nEach participant will prepare and share video teaching segments at the level of their current pedagogy training. SUMMARY:Piano Teaching Strategies
DESCRIPTION:Tuition: $20 fee payable below to reserve your spot + additional $190 payable to the Suzuki School of Newton (must sign up by Jan 16th; on Jan 17th\, price jumps an additional $50). \nTeaching Strategies will be held online for 3 consecutive Mondays from 10 am to 1:30 pm Eastern Time each day.  Participants should be prepared with 2 videos of teaching Book 1 students.  If the participant has completed Unit 2 training\, they may submit a Book 2 lesson.  This class is held in a master class format\, so that all participants can learn from each–new teachers and experienced teachers alike! \nParticipants should plan to have desktop\, laptop or large tablet in order to be completely engaged in the course and to enable proper viewing of all the videos. If possible\, a hard-wired internet connection is also desirable. \nScroll down to the bottom of this page to the enrollment box\, click “+”\, then click “get tickets”. Follow the prompts to reserve your spot and pay the $20 SAA fee.  Once completed\, you’ll be able to verify your enrollment on your profile under Upcoming Courses. \nAfter getting tickets below\, you’ll receive a confirmation email from the SAA.
