SUMMARY:Suzuki by the Green Summer Piano Institute
DESCRIPTION:Suzuki School of Newton hosts the Suzuki By The Green summer institute in its facility at 1615 Beacon Street\, Waban MA located on the MBTA public transportation green line at Waban Station.  Located a 5 minute walk from the station\, and in the heart of this small commercial center of the City of Newton\, SBTG gives a unique opportunity for Suzuki Piano Teachers and Students to mingle and learn with the emphasis solely on piano! \nOur unique schedule allows for Suzuki families to enjoy the rich cultural and touristic opportunities of Boston while also participating in an intense 4-day Suzuki piano workshop.  Monday evening our potluck supper will allow families and students to mingle and socialize and Wednesday evening our Student Concert will be held in a concert venue within walking distance of the SBTG institute. \nStudents in Piano Books 3 and up will receive 3 classes:  Masterclass\, Group Class and Ensemble (Triolets) Class. \nStudents in Piano Book 2 may opt for the 2 class or the 3 class options. \nVisit our website for details!

DESCRIPTION:Our 2026 institute is open to students of cello\, flute\, guitar\, piano\, trumpet\, violin\, and viola. We offer a full day of classes for each student including master class\, group class\, ensembles\, dance\, visual art\, and drumming. More advanced students have music theory\, technique class\, and composition. Scholarship help is available for those who can provide evidence of need. Teen-age Suzuki students serve as counselors for those whose parents can’t attend with them.
