Event Description
Every Child Can! an introductory course on the Suzuki philosophy and its application to education. For parents, teachers, prospective teachers and others, this course provides an inspiring, in-depth look at the Suzuki approach to teaching and learning. For teachers, ECC serves as the first course in the Suzuki Association of the Americas Teacher Development Program. To learn more, read about the ECC course and its guidelines.
We will meet from 1—5:30 on Zoom each day with breaks.

Trainer Information

Phala Tracy teaches Suzuki harp and music theory at Studio Fidicina in Minneaopolis, MN and she is adjunct professor of harp at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN. She teaches at summer Suzuki Institutes across the country and she is a registered Suzuki harp teacher trainer. Phala is an active arranger, composer, improviser and freelance musician. She holds a BM from Oberlin Conservatory of Music and an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts. Her teachers include Yolanda Kondonassis, Alice Chalifoux, Judy Loman, Susan Allen and Mary Kay Waddington (harp) and James Tenney (composition.)
