Additional Schedule InformationThis course is on Chicago Time (CST) will meet 2 1/2 hours each class session on Friday from 10:30 am to 12:30pm (CST) 1/21, 1/28, 2/4, 2/11, 2/18, 2/25, 3/4 and Sat. 3/5 at 10 to 12 am. It is live and online. Course requirements include a book report, a wrap-up, and playing the book from memory. This course will emphasize group teaching. It is part of the Roosevelt long-term teacher training program. Observations are online. There may be additional times scheduled for personal consultation.

Audition: Cello Basic, or Cello Intermediate, or Cello Comprehensive.
Deadline: All audition materials must be submitted by January 7 *

Trainer Information
Tanya Lesinsky Carey, cellist, has presented master classes and concerts in over 15 countries and the USA. She was assistant principal of the Milwaukee Symphony, presented concerts in Tully and Carnegie Halls, performed concertos with orchestra, and made two records with the Lydian Trio with Almita and Roland Vamos. She and her husband released the CD Golden Celebration to positive national review. Her students have won prizes in major contests. She is author of Cello Playing is Easy; Artist Teacher at Roosevelt University and Music Institute of Chicago Academy; maintains a studio; and is a sought after clinician.
