Elaborado com carinho e especialmente para os professores Suzuki de Flauta Doce, este seminário visa analisar como as obras do Barroco Francês são apresentadas dentro do repertório Suzuki de Flauta Doce.

Os temas abordados serão:

- Ornamentos;
- Sonoridade;
- Instrumentação;
- Contribuições em termos de repertório do Flautista.


Elaborated with care and especially for Suzuki Recorder teachers, this seminar aims to analyze how the works of the French Baroque are presented within the Suzuki Recorder School repertoire.

The topics covered will be:
- Articulation;
- Ornaments;
- Sound;
- Instrumentation;
- Contributions in terms of the recorder player’s repertoire.

Trainer Information

Renata Pereira

Renata Pereira starts to play recorder as a child, and teenager decided to be a professional recorder player. Her Recorder Bachelor’s degree (2004) was held in EMBAP—Paraná/Brasil. Her master and doctoral’s researches were held at University of São Paulo (2009, 2014) both with FAPESP’s scholarships. In 2003 she participated in Suzuki training courses with Katherine White at Suzuki Recorder Institute San Mateo/USA, and in 2012, she was a Recorder Clinician at Suzuki Conference in Minneapolis/USA. Since 2006 she is recorder player and founding member of Quinta Essentia recorder quartet with whom released three albums: La Marca (2008), Falando Brasileiro (2014) and the Art of fugue (2017) spreading the Brazilian recorder practice touring to Europe (2009, 2010, 2014, 2016) , China (2010, 2019), Namibia (2012), Bolivia (2014), USA (2016, 2018) and Australia (2017). Renata is a SAA Recorder teacher trainer since 2014 and ESA teacher trainer since 2018.
