This course for all Suzuki instrumental and vocal instructors takes a practical approach to Dr. Suzuki’s emphasis on “noble hearts and minds”. Participants will explore age-appropriate strategies that tap into students’ character development, students’ own personal life skills, and their relationship with music.
Relevant materials will be sent to participants before beginning the course.

Merlin B. Thompson (Ph.D., M.A., B.Mus.) is author of “More than Music Lessons: A Studio Teacher’s Guide to Parents, Practicing, Projects, and Character”.
