Event Description
Zoom is an application and website used by many teachers these days for online teaching. Benefits range from increased sound customization to screen sharing to breakout rooms for groups. In this course, I will walk teachers new to Zoom through the ins and outs of teaching on Zoom. If there is time, we will talk about teaching ideas using Zoom, but the main focus of this course is to help teachers new to Zoom become familiar with how to use Zoom’s extended functionality. All participants must be able to connect through Zoom before our first session. (Download Zoom here.) We will discuss how to create a Zoom room, share a screen, host breakout rooms, use the whiteboard, and much more.
