Class will run 10:00 am-1:00 pm and 2:00-5:00 pm.
Onsite registration will open at 9:00 am. Last minute registrations will be available as space permits. Course is located in the Faith and Life Building of the Augustana Campus of U of A in Camrose Alberta.

Event Description

Every Child Can! logoEvery Child Can! an introductory course on the Suzuki philosophy and its application to education. For parents, teachers, prospective teachers and others, this course provides an inspiring, in-depth look at the Suzuki approach to teaching and learning. For teachers, ECC serves as the first course in the Suzuki Association of the Americas Teacher Development Program. To learn more, read about the ECC course and its guidelines.

Trainer Information

Kathleen Schoen

Kathleen Schoen earned her undergraduate music degree from the University of B.C., then studied at the University of Toronto, Royal Conservatory of Music, and Banff Centre for the Arts.
She performs on period and modern flutes and recorders. Recent performances have mixed both historical and modern performance practice in arrangements and original compositions.
A Teacher Trainer for the Suzuki Association of the Americas, Kathleen has been invited to programs in Peru, Ecuador, Mexico, United States, Australia and the Netherlands. At home, she teaches at the University of Alberta and her home studio. For more: https://fluteplayer.ca
