This Every Child Can course will be held in conjunction with the annual Suzuki Association of Utah Parent Teacher Convention. Both the ECC course and the Convention will be held at the American Preparatory Academy, West Valley II campus. ECC will take place from 9am-4:30pm including a 90 minute lunch break, on Friday January 24, 2020. The Convention will begin that evening after ECC finishes.

Event Description

Every Child Can! logoEvery Child Can! an introductory course on the Suzuki philosophy and its application to education. For parents, teachers, prospective teachers and others, this course provides an inspiring, in-depth look at the Suzuki approach to teaching and learning. For teachers, ECC serves as the first course in the Suzuki Association of the Americas Teacher Development Program. To learn more, read about the ECC course and its guidelines.

Trainer Information

Cleo Ann Brimhall

Cleo Ann Brimhall resides in Salt Lake City Utah where she teaches students and trains teachers in her private studio. Cleo holds an MM degree from the UofN and studied with Dr. Suzuki and Dr. Kataoka. As a teacher trainer with the SAA, she has traveled internationally as a clinician and lecturer. She has served as Institute Director and on Suzuki Boards nationally and locally. Her students have participated in Suzuki conferences and performed in 10 Piano concerts worldwide. Several former students have completed University Degrees in piano performance and returned to her to be trained as Suzuki Piano Teachers.
