We will meet on Wednesday mornings from 10:00-1:00 for 10 weeks

Prerequisite course:

Every Child Can!, or Filosofía

Audition: Violin Basic, or Violin Intermediate, or Violin Comprehensive, or Viola Basic, or Viola Intermediate, or Viola Comprehensive.

Deadline: All audition materials must be submitted by February 3 *
*A discounted Audition Fee applies if audition is submitted before December 19. If submitted within 8-weeks of the course start date, the regular audition fee will apply.

Trainer Information

Amy Matherly

Amy Matherly has been teaching music to students of all ages since 1982. 
She is currently a member of the violin faculty at the Pakachoag Music School in Massachusetts, Coordinator of the Suzuki Program there, and Director of the Pakachoag Fiddle Band.  She became a registered SAA Teacher Trainer in 2012 and offers training at Pakachoag and at summer institutes.

In addition to teaching, Amy develops curricula for different areas of violin instruction and offers them through CAM Publications, a business founded with her husband Chris in 1998.
