Additional Schedule Information

The course will take place over two weekends; 2/15-2/18 and 3/21-3/24. On working days, the class times will not start until after 4:30 PM.

2/15: 4 hours class time
2/16: 2 hours class time + 4 hours observation
2/17: 4 hours class time + 2 hours observation
2/18: 4 hours class time
3/21: 3 hours class time
3/22: 5 hours class time
3/23: 3 hours class time + 3 hours observation
3/24: 3 hours class time

Prerequisite course:

Every Child Can!, or Filosofía

Audition: Violin Basic, or Violin Intermediate, or Violin Comprehensive, or Viola Basic, or Viola Intermediate, or Viola Comprehensive.

Deadline: All audition materials must be submitted by February 1 *

Allen Lieb

Allen Lieb Is CEO of the ISA, Chair of the ISA & SAA Violin Committees & a registered SAA & ESA Teacher-Trainer. His primary instructors in Suzuki pedagogy were John Kendall and Shinichi Suzuki. Allen is Head of the Violin Department & Instructor for Teacher-Training at the School for Strings & violin Instructor at the Diller-Quaile School, both in New York City, & a consultant for VH1SavetheMusic Foundation.
