Event Description

Every Child Can! logoEvery Child Can! is a one day introductory course on the Suzuki philosophy and its application to education. For parents, teachers, prospective teachers and others, this course provides an inspiring, in-depth look at the Suzuki approach to teaching and learning. For teachers, ECC serves as the first course in the Suzuki Association of the Americas Teacher Development Program. To learn more, read about the ECC course and its guidelines.

Trainer Information

Leah Gwen Brammer

Leah Brammer has been researching and teaching Suzuki piano since 1980. She holds undergraduate degrees in music education and piano performance and a master’s degree in piano pedagogy. Additionally, she studied with Dr. Haruko Kataoka over 20 years at numerous workshops, as well as study in Japan. She is a founding member of Atlanta Area Suzuki Piano Association, established in 1990. Many of her students have performed with orchestra, in friendship concerts, and traveled with her to perform in 10-piano concerts in Japan. They have won awards, been accepted to major conservatories for college study, and begun their own careers in music. Ms. Brammer currently has a studio in Portola Valley, CA. She continues to mentor teachers and teach students at workshops around the United States, combining this with the Core Teacher Research Forum of online video lessons and blogs.
