Additional Schedule Information

This class will include Suzuki Book 1 violin and viola pieces, exercises and teaching points. Participants will benefit from a study of the similarities and differences in teaching the two instruments, especially at the beginning student level. Participants can play violin or viola.

Class Schedule
Fridays 3-7pm
Saturdays 9-12pm & 2-5pm
Sunday noon-2pm & 3-7pm
Mondays 9am-noon

Full time college students get a $100 discount

Prerequisite course:

Every Child Can!, or Filosofía

Audition: Violin Basic, or Violin Intermediate, or Violin Comprehensive, or Viola Basic, or Viola Intermediate, or Viola Comprehensive.

Deadline: All audition materials must be submitted by January 19 *

Trainer Information

Elizabeth Stuen-Walker

Elizabeth Stuen-Walker is a Suzuki Viola Teacher Trainer. She maintains a studio in Bellingham, Washington, where she teaches viola and violin. She received a BM from Eastman School of Music and
a MM degree from Yale University School of Music. She currently serves as chair for both the SAA and ISA Viola Committees.
