Event Description
The Violin and Cello Programs for advanced students offer an individual lesson in Master Class style, a group Repertory Class and an Orchestra class daily. Advanced Master Class Lessons are limited to 3 students. Students assigned to Repertory Classes are grouped according to advancement and focus on student motivation, review and musical/technical refinement. The most advanced Repertory Class may explore repertory outside the Suzuki Volumes. Orchestra classes provide a short-term experience additional to the students’ long-term school or youth orchestra training. Advanced students who are teens participate in the Teen Seminar. In addition, all advanced students may take advantage of the Quartet/Chamber Music and Scottish Fiddling electives.
