Event Description

Guitar Unit 1, with William Kossler

28 hours of lecture to take place September through January, over 14 Saturdays, from 3—5 PM, held at Brooklyn Conservatory of Music. 58 Seventh Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11217.

Observations to take place Sept—Jan, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays as needed.

This course is a rare opportunity to pursue this training without the usual in-residence expenses associated with Suzuki training.

Suzuki Guitar training explores all aspects of guitar pedagogy with experienced teachers and also offers the opportunity to observe master teachers on site working with students of all levels.  The method does not produce “cookie cutter” teachers or students, but rather offers teachers access to the accumulated experience of many teachers internationally, encouraging experimentation and innovation. The goal of the course is to give guitarists a huge boost on their way to developing themselves as artist teachers.

Early Bird Discount due August 14, 2017: $975.
