Every Child Can! logoEvery Child Can! is a one day introductory course on the Suzuki philosophy and its application to education. For parents, teachers, prospective teachers and others, this course provides an inspiring, in-depth look at the Suzuki approach to teaching and learning. For teachers, ECC serves as the first course in the Suzuki Association of the Americas Teacher Development Program. To learn more, read about the ECC course and its guidelines.

Andrea Yun

Andrea Yun, cellist, is a Suzuki teacher trainer based in Ann Arbor, MI. She has performed in: Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Michigan Opera Theater, San Antonio Symphony, and as principal of the Windsor Symphony Orchestra (sub), Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra, Flint Symphony and Laredo Philharmonic (TX). Andrea has served as: Assistant Professor of Cello at the University of Texas at San Antonio; Adjunct faculty at Bowling Green State University; Orchestra director at Ann Arbor Pioneer High School and Okemos Middle Schools; Faculty at Blue Lake Suzuki Family Camp, DFW-WOW Institute, and other Suzuki workshops around the country. Andrea holds a dual bachelor’s degree in music education and mathematics as well as a master’s degree in cello performance from Indiana University; she also earned a doctorate in cello performance and pedagogy from the University of Michigan. Andrea’s solo performances have been heard on Canadian Broadcast Corporation (CBC) Radio.
