Event Description
The annual Greenville Suzuki Strings Workshop will be held on February 5-6, 2016. The two day workshop includes classes for Pre-Twinklers through Book 10 for violin, viola and cello. We will also have a Suzuki ECE class for ages 0 through 3. In addition to a Master Class for 3 or 4 students each receiving an individual lesson, a small group class focusing on technique and musicianship, and a large group class emphasizing repertoire, we offer the options of Orchestra, Fiddle and individual lessons with a Master Teacher. We also have enrichment classes such as Art, Fiddling, Taekwondo, and Music and Movement. Our teachers will include Jennifer Burton, Tanya Carey, Scott Conklin, Timothy Durbin, Paul Landefeld, Danette Schuh, and Edmund Sprunger. The Workshop will conclude with a concert performed by everyone from beginners to the most advanced students. Orchestra and Fiddle performances will also be featured on the concert.
