Event Description
This year marks the 25th Heart of Texas Suzuki Organization’s Piano Workshop in San Marcos, Texas on the campus of Texas State University scheduled this year for January 16-17, 2016. Suzuki piano students have master classes, play in a recital, hear faculty perform, and choose from electives of handbells, Dalcroze Eurhythmics, duets, folk dancing, origami, drumming, gamelan, and chamber music. The very popular chamber music elective includes triolets and concertatas with the McSpadden, Mcmichael, and Tamagawa string arrangements, piano trios, and concerti with orchestra on alternating years.
