Diversity From The Inside Out sheds light on beliefs, habits, and thinking patterns that could be preventing you as the music teacher from having a culturally eclectic studio. By the end of this workshop, you will have the awareness, language, and tools necessary to equip you to make real change.

Trainer Information

Chenoa was born and raised in Memphis, TN. She started the violin at age 3 and was trained in and completed the Suzuki Violin method. Chenoa earned a Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the University of Cincinnati College- Conservatory of Music and has since performed in 6 countries and 38 states of the United States. She has taught violin and viola as well as been a member of several symphony orchestras in her area. Her opinions on race can be found on CNN, NPR Illinois, and Huffington Post! She is currently a homeschooling mom of 2 children, and host of her podcast show, “Black, White & In Color. Her website is: www.blackclassicalmusicians.com
