Teaching Strategies is a 10-hour course that offers more individualized attention to the implementation of teaching strategies. It is recommended (but not required) that the participants have begun regular Suzuki studio teaching prior to enrolling in this class. Pre-requisites include ECC! and Units 1 and 2.

Trainer Information

Allen Lieb Is CEO of the ISA, Chair of the ISA & SAA Violin Committees & a registered SAA & ESA Teacher-Trainer. His primary instructors in Suzuki pedagogy were John Kendall and Shinichi Suzuki. Allen is Head of the Violin Department & Instructor for Teacher-Training at the School for Strings & violin Instructor at the Diller-Quaile School, both in New York City, & a consultant for VH1SavetheMusic Foundation.
