Event Description

Every Child Can! logoEvery Child Can! an introductory course on the Suzuki philosophy and its application to education. For parents, teachers, prospective teachers and others, this course provides an inspiring, in-depth look at the Suzuki approach to teaching and learning. For teachers, ECC serves as the first course in the Suzuki Association of the Americas Teacher Development Program. To learn more, read about the ECC course and its guidelines.

Trainer Information

Kate Jones

Dr. Kate Jones is a Suzuki bass teacher and teacher trainer in Fort Worth, Texas. She teaches in a Suzuki in the Schools program for Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD as well as her home studio, and is one of three Suzuki Bass Teacher Trainers through the Suzuki Association of the Americas. She has appeared as a soloist with orchestras throughout Texas and regularly performs as section bassist of the Richardson Symphony Orchestra, and as a substitute bassist in other DFW orchestras. In the past she has taught at Greater Austin Suzuki Institute, Kansas City Bass Workshop, Rabbath Institute of LA, Colorado Suzuki Institute, American Suzuki Institute and DFW WOW.
