DESCRIPTION:This course will be 22 course hours held over 7 Thursdays from March 26 to May 14 from 10:00 am to 1:15 pm Eastern Time. Tuition ($623) includes a $48 non-refundable admin fee. There is no class on 4/23/26. Registration deadline is March 2nd\, 2026 and early registration before 2/25/26 received a $30 discount.  Late registration after the deadline incurs a late registration of $673 only if space permits. \nParticipants are expected to learn and fluently play all pieces in Piano Book 7\, memorization is encouraged but not required. There will be an additional 8 hours of asynchronous observations that participants must do outside of class time\, as well as practice teaching points\, and produce written homework. DESCRIPTION:The University of North Carolina School of the Arts will host Every Child Can on Monday and Tuesday\, April 17-28\, 2026.  Each day the class will meet from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM Eastern US time (with breaks).  This online only course is open to everyone (all instrumentalists\, vocalists\, educators\, parents or interested individuals).  No instruments are needed and materials will be provided. \nThe total cost is $145\, which includes a $35 materials fee and deposit. \nECC is the introductory course in the Suzuki Method sponsored by the Suzuki Association of the Americas.  The 8 hour course explores the philosophy and teaching methods of Shinichi Suzuki and modern teachers of the method.  It is particularly useful for teachers or aspiring teachers who might want to pursue additional training in the Suzuki Method.  The course is registered as a credential with the Suzuki Association and serves as the required introductory course for people who later choose to continue with the longer\, instrument-specific training sessions. \nYou must be logged in to your SAA account to join the course roster and pay for the course\, below.
