DESCRIPTION:This course will be 22 course hours held over 7 Thursdays from March 26 to May 14 from 10:00 am to 1:15 pm Eastern Time. Tuition ($623) includes a $48 non-refundable admin fee. There is no class on 4/23/26. Registration deadline is March 2nd\, 2026 and early registration before 2/25/26 received a $30 discount.  Late registration after the deadline incurs a late registration of $673 only if space permits. \nParticipants are expected to learn and fluently play all pieces in Piano Book 7\, memorization is encouraged but not required. There will be an additional 8 hours of asynchronous observations that participants must do outside of class time\, as well as practice teaching points\, and produce written homework. DESCRIPTION:Ever wondered how to get started with Suzuki Piano with a 3 or 4 year old?  This course makes the smooth transition from Suzuki Early Childhood Education or other music and movement classes to the child’s first lesson of sitting properly at the piano with a well-trained Suzuki parent. \nThis course include lecture format and an in-person demo class with 3-4 year olds and parents or adult caregivers. \nIn-person only so that all participants can actively participate in the class and in teaching each other. \nPre-requisite is only Unit 1 completion in any instrument.  That is\, once you understand the elements of Suzuki\, this course can be adapted to any instrument. \nYou must be logged in to your SAA account and have Active Membership to join the course roster below.  \nScroll down to the bottom of this page to the enrollment box\, click “+”\, then click “get tickets”.
