Ecuador: Great Education Includes Music

We are excited to share with you this short video sent to us by the INEPE School in Ecuador which has incorporated Suzuki music education into the lives of its students.

We loved seeing the high quality Suzuki piano, violin, flute, etc. education happening across our globe.

As the video shows, “The testimonies of our students’ parents share with us how music has united their families as it allows them to share together not only by participating in the performances of their children at school. …As they listen and enjoy music together they can also strengthen their bond at home.”

Chapters come alive!

Suzuki Association of Minnesota

Each month we will be featuring news from one of our chapter affiliates. For October, we are excited for the Suzuki Association of Minnesota’s Workshop Weekend and Mini Institute. Guest clinician Alice Kanack will share her unique Creative Ability Development improvisation with all. Want to see how a weekend workshop can benefit all sides of the Suzuki triangle? Just scroll to the bottom of their page to see the list spelled out for everyone. What a rich resource for parents, teachers, and students to gather, learn, and celebrate music together.
