Student Institute

The Institute provides an opportunity for Suzuki students of Violin, Viola, Cello, and Piano to receive musical instruction in a nurturing way. Students from Twinkle through advanced literature (past the books) will be accommodated.

During the five-day student institute, each participant will attend a master class, a group repertoire/technique class, and an ensemble class of their level. There are also many enrichment classes available.

Of course, the mother tongue approach includes the parent. In addition to observing their children in class, parents will also have the opportunity to watch related DVD’s and attend lectures on topics of interest.

Sessions will include a coached rehearsal and an uncoached rehearsal, a master class, an advanced orchestra or accompanying class daily. In addition, there will be ensemble master classes, sight-reading sessions, and a Chamber Music Performance.
