Nurtured by Love—in Japanese?

Does anyone know where I could get a copy of Nurtured by Love in Japanese? I have a new student who is Japanese and her parent barely speaks English; I think a Japanese copy would really help her in the orientation process. I’ve also put her lesson next to another Japanese family who I’ve taught for years, so I know that will be very helpful, but I’ve been unable to find NBL in the original Japanese. Help?

It was originally written in German, I think, then translated to English.

I don’t have an answer, but try contacting Karen Hagberg at Piano Basics Foundation, 67 Shepard St., Rochester NY 14620. She may have an answer due to her Japanese connections. Otherwise, you might try contacting the Suzuki school in Matsumoto, Japan directly. Surely there is an edition for use by the Japanese!

Good luck!

I think, maybe, this is it—based on what Google Translate tells me—available on—and I have no idea if you can actually order the book on the japanese amazon site and have it shipped overseas, but why not try?:

This might be it… maybe?

It’s 798 Japanese Yen, which is approximately a little more than 10 U.S. Dollars.
