Searching for recording of Rieding Concertino in A minor

Does anyone know of any recordings available for the Rieding Concertino in the Hungarian Style in A minor, Op. 21?

I’ve googled it and see there is a Dowani edition of the music that comes with a three-tempo recording. It’s all I can find. I don’t need the sheet music, however, and there is no information on who the performer is.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Traim,

I’ve been in the same situation, and all I have ever been able to find is the Dowani. There are no other commercial recordings of this work that I’ve been able to uncover. The DOWANI does have a concert version which is lovely, and I do believe that it has the name of the violinist and collaborative pianist written in the score/print materials that came with it—although sadly I’ve missplaced these. I don’t think you’ll have luck finding another recording, but if you do—please share. I really like this piece (better than the b minor, IMHO) and wish that there were more options.

Traim, you can also find a few performances on YouTube.

Best from,

Charles

Hi Charles,

Thanks for your response and for letting me know that you also could not find any other commercial recordings other than Dowani. I hesitated to buy it, since I already own the sheet music, but since you said the recording is lovely I will go ahead and purchase it.
