Violin practice—Musette

This video is for students who already know Musette but need some reinforcement and repetition.

I like the revised bowings but students still seem to be befuddled by the bowings in this song. Therefore—the video… I also scheduled Musette as a group class song for our next recital to see if I can get my students to get over the Musette hurdle!

Great video..thanks for posting. My son absolutely loves playing Musette…he said the bowing is “crazy and fun” :)

Wonderful! I like to make up a story for this song. The name Musette pertains to bagpipe music. We think of the rolling green hills where bagpipes come from and the notes and the bowings roll nicely up and down with the shape of the music.
