I bought a few extra copies of Methode Rose last summer, but I have since made the decision to stop using the book with my students. I still have two copies left that are in perfect condition… if anyone is interested, I’m selling them on Amazon. Click here for link.

Methode Rose is a book that many Suzuki piano teachers use to teach reading. It starts with simple tunes that use lots of finger numbers, stepwise motion, and quarter notes. Then they gradually add larger intervals & note durations, and take away the finger numbers. It’s quite a large book, and it usually lasts for a year or two. The text is in French and Japanese (no English) but I haven’t found that to be a problem.
