Gewa Violins

Does anyone here have any experience with Gewa as a violin maker? I know them from buying accessories for other instruments when I lived in Germany, but am looking at what I might run across next year when I am in Vienna. Looking to pick up a nice 1/8 for my grandson while I am over there.

If you go on one of the European versions of Google, you can get some idea of models and prices.

Obviously the second one requires German language.

Good idea. Just to see what it out there and probably what to avoid if it is like eBay, although I got a very, very good violin for next to nothing off eBay a few years ago. Fortunately, ich kann Deutsch lesen!

As an aside, I just checked out your website and all I can say is, “Amen”! Why teach the “kid’s way” vs. the “adult way” at all?
