I am an adult beginner violing student. I am working in book 1.

I am having trouble with lifts. When I come down my bow always bounces. Please give me some advice.

Your bow bounces because it is designed to!
To set your bow on the string without bouncing, you have to set it on or below the balance point. You can locate the balance point by balancing the stick on your finger—about 4-5 inches up from the frog.
