Do the original recordings work with revised edition books?

Hi all! I am just wondering if the “revised” books still match the old recordings? I’m specifically wondering about Cello volumes 1&2 and beyond, because I have the original recordings but will need to purchase the new “revised edition” books for my daughter. Just wondering if I also need to purchase the new books with the CD or if the old recordings are the same.

In Violin it depends. I know in book 3 is a difference in Minuet(repeats etc) .But most pieces are the same. Do you know what is different in the revised and old Suzuki Cello part?Bec that has an influence on the recordings. What ever has changed in the book has changed in the recording. There should be a list somewhere that explains all the changes.

Thank you Friederike. I will look for this list. I have been using the old CD with revised book 1 and so far have not noticed any difference several songs in.
