Cross Posted: Good Morning! I’m doing research for a writing project and am trying to get as many responses as I can to the question: “How would you define student success in the Suzuki Method?”

You can answer here, message me or send an email to GoodnerViolin at Gmail dot com. Feel free to answer as a parent, teacher or both.

Thanks for your help

Students acquire the skills to be independent learners and life-long music makers. :)

Dr. Suzuki’s primary goal in teaching children the violin was to create good citizens. If lifelong love for music and talent results, then that’s a bonus!

… and by that I mean:

expression of kindness and respect toward family and peers
exercise of empathy
appreciation for beauty in the world
generosity of spirit
willingness to proceed in life with an open mind
