Hi All—

As some of you may know, I have been teaching at the Afghanistan National Institute of Music for the past two years. This has for sure been the most incredible and rewarding experience of my life, and I have loved every moment. (well maybe not the moments without electricity or heat…. but that’s Afghanistan)
In any event, I have decided to leave my beloved Afghanistan and sadly, my beloved students, in order to pursue a Master’s Degree. Although the school itself is not Suzuki, I am adamant that whoever takes over for me be Suzuki in training and philosophy and character!! I am REALLY hoping one (or many) of you will be up for a major adventure of the highest caliber, and come on out here to Kabul!! I’m attaching my blog here, if you want to read a bit about living here, and I am happy to answer any questions you might have. For starters, it is WAY safer than any media outlet would have you believe. Anyway, please send me PM if you are interested, and I’d love to chat with you!!

Thanks so much—

Jennifer (formerly of Hong Kong, currently of Kabul)
