My daughter who is 10 has been taking piano lesson since she was 5 yrs. old. Lately she has been around people at church who play by ear. And now she wants to learn by ear and leave the notes style out. She is very smart though and I really want her to learn both. I know God gave her this gift though because she catches everything so easy. But, when I ask her to play some songs for my by notes she refuses. So, I am looking for a teacher who teaches using the Suzuki method. I heard that is a great method and I would like to learn it myself. I want to be able to play my own songs on the piano rather than asking somebody else to do it for me.
