Hi, everyone! I should preface this post by stating that I am a Suzuki violin/viola teacher. I maintain a private studio where I teach private and group lessons on a weekly basis. That said, I am wondering about the possibility of working with a larger group of students (more in a private school setting) and was curious if there is anyone on here who can discuss the Suzuki in the Schools program. I would love to know how it works; pros and cons; what type of student (age/ability) it targets; does it still involve the the parent as part of the Suzuki triangle; what book is used (Suzuki method book or something else); how the Suzuki mother-tongue/listening/delayed read approach translates into a school group setting. Thanks so much!
