I am trying to reach out to any teacher out there that knows how to teach via SKYPE of FACETIME. I have a nephew who is ready for the piano, but the nearest teacher is 400 miles away. We would be definitely entertain any great ideas here. I know that this exists, but don’t know where and who.

This exists—Have you tried searching on the Facebook Suzuki groups?

How old is your nephew and has he taken any piano or other instrument lessons before? Skype or FaceTime is possible but the parent has to be even MORE committed than an in-person lesson.

My whole family are pianists; this would be even easier on the student. Are there teachers out there?

5 years old. My mother was a piano teacher as well as my sister and brothers all took Suzuki. They are very committed as they are looking very hard.

They have an acoustic instrument.

I posted on a Facebook group for you and many people had references. Do you have an email address to share?
