Hello, teachers! I’m trying to clear out my inventory of the 1st edition of my history book “From Suzuki to Mozart” and combine it with a promotion, so if you’re interested in getting a free book just respond to this post and I will mail you a copy!
“From Suzuki to Mozart” is a history of every single piece in the Suzuki violin books. It has all sorts of interesting tidbits for you trivia buffs, also a collection of history games that my students have done in group lessons!
(Note: I will be getting your address from the new Suzuki Directory, so you don’t have to post an address online).

Hi Hadley, I am responding to your free book give away. I have been looking for something like that for years. If 4 other people haven’t yet responded I’d love to be one of the first four. Angela

Am I too late? Looks like it. However If you find a fifth copy lost in your inventory somewhere, it sounds interesting, count me in!

How awesome—What an incredible idea. Just a year ago I started researching the origins of these pieces and have been delighted to hear them in their traditional context. I just wanted to wish you good luck with this project! Keep us posted.
Thanks, Heather

Looks like I’m too late to win, but I wanted to say I love this project! It’s so important for our students to understand the various contexts of the pieces they learn. I’ll be picking up a copy. Is a second edition coming?
