Hi Friends!

Can you believe that summer is almost over! I just saw a back-to-school commercial and literally screamed “NO”!

But like it or not, the school year is approaching. One of my goals for Tone Academy this year is to raise the bar on the experience of our group classes for teachers, students, and parents. I know that I learn the most from watching other teachers, but I never have time to observe!

In order to help everyone get ready, Tone Academy is hosting a Group Class Seminar on Saturday, September 6th at 12:00-2:00. This won’t be a boring lecture and teacher-training that we’re all forced to do… this will be a chance for teachers to share real games and curriculum with everyone! If you’re close to NYC, we’d love to have you attend! This is NOT exclusive to any particular instrument or Suzuki Trained teachers only.

Imagine having a whole new set of tools!

Theory and music reading
Sight singing
Children under 5
Middle/High school motivation
Practice Charts
Rhythm and Tempo
Organizing the Classroom
Communicating with Parents

No matter what age you teach and where you teach, this afternoon will be really helpful. Private teachers can benefit too!

Registration is $10—RSVP to me and I’ll send out more info. Please feel free to invite others!

Enjoy August,
