I’ve seen these 6-7 inch bows that teachers use as a tool to play at the frog but I can’t find where to purchase them. Anyone know?

The email is the best bet. The owner says the website is not functioning properly. She says you can find them at There are two sizes. One for violin and one for cello.

Also, occasionally, if you’re at the right summer Suzuki Institute, the Institute store will have some in stock that you can purchase.

Alternatively you could ask a local luthier to make one for you (might be more expensive, though…)

I ordered mine from Shar Catalog last fall. It was a little longer than the 6 inch bows you referenced. It cost me about $20 and was money well spent.

This is an incredible teaching tool—I highly recommend these!
