Does anyone give awards for graduating from Suzuki Books? If so, what do you give?

Every time a student completes a book, they perform a graduation recital. I make a really big deal out of it and give them a certificate of completion at the end of it as well as a little token to remind them of our time spent doing that particular book. I mean, very small and kind of funny/cute token. For example, for book 4 one of my students constantly forgot to cut his nails and I would joke with him about how half of our lesson time was spent with him cutting his nails. For his token gift I wrapped a brand new set of nail clippers and told him to never allow them to leave his case! This makes the kids know that I really care, and it gives them some great memories…all without breaking my bank! When a student graduates from high school and "graduates" from my studio they each get either a necklace or set of cuff links from me at the end of the year recital. Always a lot of tears, but the kids just really look forward to being able to earn those little bits of jewelry. They are either of an alto clef for my violists or treble clef for the violins. I've had students come back years later and tell me how much pride they still have in the gifts and all of them keep them and wear them!
