Practice Chart for THREE DAYS A WEEK?

Does anyone have a copy of a practice chart, where students can mark on there, at least three days a week? I’m going to have to insist on at least three days a week but I don’t have anything like that. [cc me at [javascript protected email address] so I’ll get it right away?]

I was thinking that this would open a lot of issues about practicing, particularly for students. In no particular order:
1. Is not skip-a-day practice good for the physique. If you lift weights, for example, a day between training will facilitate the tears in the muscles, healing;
2. Sometimes the mind of a student who likes writing, math and generally, organization, will be attracted, as a child, to a document that is pleasurable to fill out;
3. To develop a successful professional life (in music or anything, really), I think you have to get organized: this should include space that is only your own, the equipment (instrument, case, accessories, electronics, printed music, etc.), and the furniture, really. This is your work space.

I’ll try to design something, myself, and see what I can come up with.

There are several practice charts available at The Practice Shoppe, and I’ve emailed mine to you, too.

I appreciate everyone’s input, so much. I made some changes in the page/document, based on the recommendations from the SSA board, bavs and Maestronet. See update:

I think, like the Lesson Policy, which I’m still tweeking after all these many years, the practice chart will be an ongoing project. Really interesting input from everyone.
