How can a parent tell what a teacher’s SAA training is?

First of all, I’m a parent trying to figure out a teacher’s qualifications.

If a Suzuki instructor, listed on the SAA website, cites training as: Violin Unit 1, Violin Unit 2, etc. does that equate to Book 1, Book 2, etc.? I’ve searched the SAA website and can’t find an explanation for the term, “Unit.”

Perhaps someone knows the link and can send it to me? It’s probably staring me in the face, and I just can’t see it.

Thanks. :-)

Yes, each unit training course covers the Suzuki book with the same number.

You can read more about what teacher training covers here: https://suzukiassociation.org/teachers/training/
