I was at a Suzuki Summer Institute last summer and one of the teachers taught some words to Hunters’ Chorus. Unfortunately I was unable to write them down. Can anybody help me with the words?

Ha! I’d love those words, AND I was trying to figure out the “lone-ly soldier” words to 2 Grenadiers. Are there words for other songs that could be shared?
Thanks in advance!

Here they are! I sent Beth Goldstein an email, and she kindly sent me the words.
Here we are! (2x)
Galloping (4x)
Here we are (2x)
Galloping (4x)
There is the fox (2x)
We hope he gets away. (1st ending)

We let him get away. (2nd ending)
I’d like to learn words to Two Grenadiers, too. There’s another discussion on this forum which has some clever words to lots of songs and Amarillo College’s website has words to almost all the Book 1 songs. Here’s the link: http://www.actx.edu/suzuki/index.php?module=article&id=83

Thank you for the Hunter’s Chorus words! Here is what I know for the “hooked” bowing part of 2 Grenadiers.
Two Lonely soldiers I did see
Two Lonely Lonely Soldiers
They were very Lonely, Oh so Lonely
Homesick and Lonely Soldiers
with Lonely Hearts and Minds and Passions
They marched into France their Homeland.
The word Lonely is always a hooked bow and I have personally never liked the “hearts and minds and passions” part but haven’t come up with anything better.

Hi Beth Ann,
What were the words for The Two Grenadiers? Did you have the words to the complete song of Hunter’s Chorus?

How about “Lonely Hearts and Minds and Feelings” instead of “Passions”?
steps to emotional literacy…

Hi Marla,
I don’t have words to the whole song, just the part that repeats. Did you see the words to Two Grenadiers from Laura?

I have heard another teacher use “giddy-up” instead of “galloping”. I like that because of the staccato sound.
