Hi everyone,

I’m helping to coach a 1-week chamber music workshop in Big Bear, California. We are in need of one more cellist student to complete a string quartet. If anyone is interested in applying, info is available online here:

Might I add, a limited amount of need-based financial aid is available.

CMW is a very different experience from large music camps…with only twelve students and 2:1 student-teacher ratio, this week-long immersion in chamber music gives junior high and high school students an incredibly supportive environment to develop their ensemble skills. Students not only learn works with their peers, but also play side-by-side with the faculty in larger groups.

Aside from plenty of coaching, performance classes, and concerts, we also find time to do some outdoor activities in the mountains together, and everyone enjoys wholesome home-cooked meals (no fast food) the entire week.
