Hi!
I am planning a orchestra/ensemble projekt for Book 6 and thought it would be very nice to play the Folia with orchestra accompaniment. The kids would take turns in playing the Solovariations, still beeing able to play the whole piece together. Just- I don’t find any sheet music.. I would be very grateful for help in this matter! I really hope, I don’t have to arrange the orchestra parts myself..? Thanks!

Dear flageoletty!

I think here you find exactly what you are looking for
FREE DOWNLOADS—German Suzuki Association

Go to Download No. 33:

Arcangelo Corelli, LA Folia
Arranged for Three Violins by Kerstin Wartberg

Short description:
Violin 1: You can use the violin part in book 6
Download: You will find a score and a second and third violin part.

This piece was successfully performed at the European Teachers Convention in 2011 in Germany organized by the German Suzuki Association.
The orchestra with about 60 Suzuki violin teachers was conducted by Bela Detreköy from Denmark.
All teachers were very enthusiastic about the beautiful arrangement by Kerstin Wartberg. She told us that we can distribute these files to all interessted students and teachers. Please enjoy!
