Hello all

I was wondering if anyone has information on the snowflake song by eva bogren. (snowflake, wind, mist and moon sp?)
I was looking for the sheet music or a cd of it with no luck so far.

Thank you.

Eva Bogren has a website, http://www.evabogren.com/. There are personal contact details and there is a book described thus:

A collection of melodies for the beginner. The purpose of the book is to inspire and motivate young students to practice through simple yet challenging and exciting melodies. Special attention is given to ergonomics, correct posture and how to properly hold the violin and the bow. Exercises are included for advanced techniques, such as bowing patterns. This approach can be used individually or in groups.
Swedish version (only) available.

I hope this helps.

Hi Sue,

I did see the website and I have emailed them as to the contents of the cd but no response as of yet. I have seen several US youtube videos with this song and hoping it is available somewhere in english.

Thank you for your response. I appreciated you taking the time to answer.

Best regards!

Have you come across her A String Concerto? It is 8 twinkle rhythms on A with a bouncy syncopated piano part. A few years ago I saw a lovely jazzy descant for more advanced players.

Yes, we play this song in our group. The link Celia Jones posted is correct, but it is without CD. Seems Adlibris does not have the violin CD, very weird.

This site has the violin CD but I don’t know if they ship to international addresses: http://www.segermalm.se/sma-latar-for-sma-strakar-cd/127-0

Don’t know if this is ok to post, if not I’ll remove it. Sorry if I make some mistake, this is from memory without any instrument close. :)

Eva wants to publish her songs in the US, she’s looking for help with the project. She was in touch about a month ago. Hope it comes out soon. The song is lovely.

Does anyone know if this has been published in the US yet?

Here’s another video of a violin group: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZGrfzNlk20
