Online Book Release Celebration! www.fingerboardworkbookseries.com

Live Streaming Event & Win a Workbook Drawing

In celebration of the release of The Fingerboard Workbook Series Map the Violin for Good there is going to be a live online streaming event that will include a drawing to win fingerboard workbooks. Depending on demand I may schedule 1 – 3 calls (1 – 3 drawings!). This will be both educational and fun.

I want this event to be of value to you. I would like to answer your questions, leave you with new ideas and practice fingerboard geography concepts together! Your questions can be about concepts regarding finding notes on the fingerboard. If there is time left we can go into other facets of violin playing.

Any and all can participate with the online streaming call.

To be entered for the drawing— follow these directions:

  1. Respond to the 3 questions in bold by 7/30/11. You can include the other questions as a way for me to get to know you better.

  2. You can respond in the following manner:

  1. Email:

  2. Facebook: www.myviolinvideos.com

  3. Twitter: @myviolintutor

  1. You must be present at the online streaming event(s) to win the drawing.

You will receive a response from me. You will be assigned a number for the drawing and notification of the date(s) and time(s) of the online streaming call(s).

Questions:
Why do you think you should win a workbook in the drawing? Have fun and be creative with your answer! (Ex: I was born to play the Tchaikovsky Concerto – but my current piece is Twinkle!)

Which days of the week and times do you have available for an online streaming session? Include your time zone. (Ex: Mondays 10am Eastern time)

What specific problems do you have with finding notes? If you’re a teacher —what specific problems do you have teaching how to find notes? (Ex: I can read and visualize the notes but for the life of me I can’t imagine how they are supposed to sound!)

Tell me about your frustrations or curiosities regarding the violin.

Are you a student, adult student, parent or teacher?

Violin? Viola? Violin & Viola?

How long have you been playing?

What are you working on now?

What positions have you studied?

I look forward to meeting you, working with you, and showing you my fun side!!!

Big Smiles! Diane
